What these two governments fail to recognise is the antisemitism now raising its head is the direct result of Israel's actions.
What's worse is that many people who secretly held vile antisemitic views are now expressing them openly, under the cover of the war.
As for the war itself, its difficult to see how it resolves. Netanyahu needs it to continue to stay out of jail. Trump needs it to continue until he can manufacture something that he can convince us all is a victory.
The only other route to peace would be for Iran to run out of weapons. But even then, the slaughter in Lebanon, Gaza & the West Bank would carry on.
Disturbingly, the indiscriminate killing of so many innocents has become so routine that no one seems to care anymore, at least until it impacts upon the cost of living.
