"When in a hole stop digging! Today global economic growth is averaging 3% and has done so for 60 years. This doubles the global economy over 20 years. This is incompatible with the natural limits of the planet and will lead to the breakdown of its ecosystems. Degrowth offers a strategic alternative to such growth and the conflicts and societal breakdowns that it is already generating.
