7 Kms still leaves 49 Kms out of the full 120 Kms

YOU SAY: "the disused South Staffordshire Railway which will make up more than seven kilometres of the tramway." I SAY:, that is most of the tramway going on the UK's last, mothballed, mainline railway "of national strategic significance" (NR, DfT) that is needed to take freight trains off Brum's railways. What a sad waste of a railway to break it up for trams, a VLR test track and a cycle-walkway!
