Remember, that the Digbeth tram is working out at £142 m/Km, including public realm improvements. Still over 3x more expensive per Km for tram extensions in 46 places in the world!
We are getting Metro because it is highly prestigious, over indulgent and wealth flaunting - all at the expense of worsening Climate/ecological impacts and the poor. Despicable behaviour.
Their reply to you is not being truthful and they miss out that the 1.7 Kms Digbeth extension cannot be completed until the Curzon St station is ready to receive it at the end of the decade!
