Thanks, Chris. All good stuff. My own transport action is this:
- Don't bother with spending billions in price and weight of greenhouse gas emissions in rebuilding electric tram networks in the West Midlands and Leeds.
- Simply finish electrifying and USING our existing mothballed or freight only railway lines for railway trains NOT trams!
- Get electric buses on roads directly and not electric "bus on rails" trams. Electric buses don't need the high greenhouse gas intensive railway tracks we get with trams.
- Fare-Free Public Transport for ALL and not just for my age group. And throughout England and Wales.
- Enthuse, enlighten, excite, inspire, reward the car lobby in this way instead of enraging them with you know what!
