My dear wife is one of the evangelicals who is also a Messianic Christian, supporter of American evangelicals and loves Michael Youseff. She is one of our church leaders and preaches to us all and me when it is her turn every three weeks! I do NOT send her my stuff anymore and we usually keep off the topic but disagree amicably enough.
I was once an evangelical and street preacher in my youth. Hence my marriage to another evangelical. I've changed my views but Linda has remained a born again, Bible-believing Christian. I'm a back sliding renegade but who still loves the life and teaching of Jesus - and my super wife. We've recently discovered a wonderful new IRANIAN cafe in Halesowen. Linda has known Iranian Christians in the past. We had lunch there yesterday.
What do they say about people like me who leave once strongly held views and then become very anti that former position?
