It seems that the slaughter of six million Jews and other minorities in the Nazi Holocaust, in Christian Europe, was the justification for recognising the State of Israel, even though the land was claimed without agreement with the other parties and more land was gained in subsequent wars.
The Old Testament chronicles how the people of Israel became God’s Own Chosen Nation and how God gave them the Promised Land from wars of aggression, 3,000 years ago. Canaanites were the main losers then.
There followed Exile and eventual Return to the Promised Land - a second gift of God to the Jews alone out of all the tribes and peoples in the Middle East. The Roman Empire conclusively put a stop to the Second Gift when the Temple was destroyed in 70 CE.
The Third Return to the Promised Land for the Jews of Israel alone, came in 1948 CE. But only after three years of USA funded Zionist terrorism to eject the Mighty British Empire from the Promised Land, which by now was known as Palestine.
Therefore, God has given the Jews, His Only Chosen Nation, the same Promised Land on three occasions. Yet, in 78 years as the Middle East regional Super Power, possessing WMD and the sure and steadfast Iron Dome, they have never lived in peace even for a day, because of fear of attack from the people they violently ousted.
Where does the teaching of their most famous Jewish son, after Bibi, come into all this? Sadly, nowhere to be seen.
