Abandon tram expansion in the W Mids and use the BILLIONS to bring in regional Fare-Free Public Transport for ALL and not just, for mainly, the elderly like me.
Buses are better directly on roads without the railway tracks which "bus on rails" trams use running on tracks on the roads and mainline railways (bus on rails quote from UK Tram promotion group at Tram HQ, 16 Summer Lane at the time of the Croydon tram crash in 2016)
Enhanced Bus Partnership (EBP) worked well and the millions for bus franchising would have been better spent for EBP to entice and reward car commuters who leave their motors at home.
