Our British history of some iniquitous trading (black people treated as commodities/objects and opium), and collecting colonies around the world in greater numbers than any other nation, should mean that we welcome migrants in a generous and fair system that all European countries should follow. The horrors of daily life for 2 million Gazans in the world's largest open-air prison is a tragic reflection of the Rich/Poor Divide in the world at large. No wonder so many from the Poor World want to come to Rich World Europe and N America; and, then we bang them up in the shocking prison conditions of the Napier Barracks in Folkestone!
