An official £106 BILLION for HS2 is £106 billion of deadly greenhouse gases, of foolish destruction of nature and, loss of finite resources and land on a planet that, unfortunately, is not expanding in line with our every greedy demands. It is not very much more foolish than the half a billion going for the part conversion of the UK's last mainline railway to tramway!
