My reasons for opposing WMD:
- They are far too destructive to be of any practical use in a time of war.
- It is illegal to kill non-combatants.
- Their use does not meet just war criteria.
- They have failed to stop wars since their invention and, could so easily have been used.
- They are climate-wrecking in their construction and ecocidal in use.
- Diplomacy and sanctions must be used
- Conflict resolution must be used.
- WMD are pointless, immoral and use finite fossil fuels and precious raw materials that we desperately need in the future.
