Is it because Ukraine is so obviously on our side and is being attacked by our number one sworn Enemy?
This was never done for our own wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, perhaps, Syria. Although, could it be said that we initiated this Ukraine war when we overthrew, the correctly and fairly elected pro-Russian President in Feb 2014 (elected 2010)? That led to about 14,000 fatalities in the first eight years. Ratcheted up even more seriously in Feb 2022, of course.
