The BBC 'Sunday' programme, this morning, had a Melbourne's Deakin University Muslim research fellow saying - and this is my summary - that an Iranian Shia fatwa ("about twenty years ago") had been in place for Iran not to build more than 2,000 Km long range ballistic missiles and a nuclear bomb. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had complied. If Iran had had a nuclear bomb, they would not have been attacked twice in a short time by Israel/USA. Like N Korea has not been attacked because of its nuclear programme. This second attack by the West (USA/Israel) in a short time is taking Iran to civil war.
