Thanks, Dave for telling me.  Great to meet you.  Even greater if you would like to come and join the bike ride at 10 am on Sat 8 August at Himley Plantation car park - but no pressure!  I will post something on Strava and Facebook.

Remember, the Black Country Cycle/Walk Active Travel Route is the UK's top cycle-walkway for

• its length - 20 Km
• its location
• its convenience for W Mids 2.8 pop
• the major urban-rural-urban commuter, business, leisure route - longer than Bath to Bristol.

This route and the Netherton Tunnel towpath upgrading is all part of Chris Barnett's circular 40 Km route in the Black Country.  But it must be made more popular from being able to be used!  Like, the 96 m Edgbaston Tunnel towpath, which is now wonderful!
