Porritt knows what he's talking about

Dear Stewart

Many thanks for your email.

I thought the case workers were the gatekeepers for Alex and that you three filtered what he must read and did not need to read. ARE you the first port of call to take the pressure off Alex and only send to him what he really needs to read?

Everything I have sent my MPs over the decades outside of that personal matter dealing with Octopus which you dealt with extremely well, concerned very serious matters inside the TfWM/WMCA that has gone on since the 1980s. I think I uncovered the biggest joint financial/transport scandal in the history of the UK. But very few have been interested. Even Alex, in the one appointment I was granted, had trouble answering one simple question, viz:

When you have built a principal mainline railway "of national strategic significance", according to Network Rail and the DfT, what are you meant to put on it?

Now that that very important railway has been destroyed, forever, all you youngsters need to read this from Sir Jonathon Porritt who is an old man like me but who definitely knows what he is talking about.
Thanks again for your brilliant work in explaining to me why Octopus did what they did and how. 10 out of 10.
