Last month, one of my evangelical Christian friends I was with, saw me go over to switch off the engine of a stationary and empty car and disapproved with the first four words above. The good Lord is in control and those who love him have nothing to fear. The trouble is they are bringing down the rest of us with them!
How brave of you to turn off that car's ignition! And what a ridiculous Evangelical Christian. It is rather like a US friend of my Mum's who says "God is in charge!" and she wants to say, in return, "it's more like the Devil nowadays!"

Whites taking over S Africa worked. Why not for Israel?
Do you Aaron (of Churches' Ministry to Jews), see any similarity between the Whites taking over S Africa and eventually coming to an agreement, a settlement with the indigenous Blacks, and Israel taking over more and more of Palestine throughout the 20th century after nearly 2,000 years of being deprived of the land?
Certainly not an exact parallel, of course but it has worked in South Africa where Israelis have failed in their takeover, after nearly 2,000 years. Not even a Pyrrhic victory because the Israelis want the lot - from the River to the Sea (in the Likud Charter).
