The very people who are giving us High Scam 2 are the very people who, with their predecessors, stupidly obliterated about one-third of the national railway network when Richard Beeching sensibly closed them. The man did not want their complete wipeout.
Seven Dudley borough railway lines have been built on or, are impossible to bring back for trains or trams. About 100 Kms destroyed in the West Midlands. Complete idiocy.
All this spending for totally unnecessary destruction means this:
