"modern Hebrew has been revived; Israeli television punches above its weight; there has been a robust ingathering of the exiles." No mention of what the Palestinians have lost, but that is Zionism. As an American I have seen my country of 375 million, the light of the world after WW2, completely forget about liberty and justice for all and be turned upside down to fully support ethnic superiority and cleansing by Israel (1/40th the population) with all the military, financial and diplomatic power of the US, this country sinking to the floor of world public opinion with Israel as a President declares himself a Zionist, a traitor to LJ4A! All the while Jews in the US have flourished in every field, have become disproportionately billionaires and the toast of the arts. For Zionists that is not enough: Destroy Palestine's land and people and the US morally to do it. But America's liberation from Israel is in progress, irreversible, prompted with the eye-opening genocide in Gaza.

Today the Green Party in Britain voted to call Zionism a form of racism. It should have also pointed out that the roots of the cruelty of Israelis are in the Old Testament, a barbaric and racist book, which is taught in Jewish religious and secular schools

The Jewish god commands the Jews to slaughter innocent men, women and children of various nations, such as, Amalek, Midian, seven nations of Canaan, etc. In the Passover story, the Jewish god kills all the firstborn Egyptians, including babies.

Also, read Exodus 11:4-5, Numbers 31:17-18, Deuteronomy 7:1-2, Deuteronomy 20:13-17, 1 Samuel 15:3. And read Book of Joshua and end of Book of Esther. Those who speak of nice Jewish prophets should read of the prophet Elisha, 2 Kings 2:23-25. Children mocked Elisha because he was bald. He cursed them; 2 bears came out of the woods and killed 42 children.

The creation of a Jewish state was essentially forced on the Jews by virulent antisemitism experienced around the world for over 1500 years throughout Christian Europe and (to a somewhat lesser degree) throughout most Arab Muslim nations. The clear message was: If you want to remain alive you need to leave and get your own place. So the creation of the state of Israel was an historical imperative, and it was very successful. Now the question is, how can we make the best of this difficult situation we are all trapped in?

We believe reconciliation is still possible. It starts with a declaration by the World Zionist Organization recognizing the injustice of the Nakba and acknowledging proportional responsibility.

Israel is strong and can afford to be magnanimous, especially given the paramount Jewish value of Truth.

Nazi Germany accomplished much before WW2 began. The economy took off, joblessness ended, Germans felt proud, but nobody would justify Nazism for anything positive it accomplished in light of the injustice of its nature. So it is in this article when mentioning developing modern Hebrew, an ingathering, etc. Also, Injustice does not excuse a following injustice. Jews were not forced to go to Palestine to displace the natives by any means and without end (78 years and counting). Most wanted to go to the US. The cleansing of Palestine was a deliberate decision by a fanaticism, Zionism, that would brook no alternative. The only answer is one state for all the people, the solution the US found to its own ethnic cleansing atrocity.
