We embraced Russia into G7. What went wrong that the G8 was v short-lived? Was it because we must always have an enemy to justify our war spending? Why no buffer zone between the West and Russia? Why did we allow the buffer nations to enter NATO when Warsaw Pact dissolved in 1991?
Russia is fed up with USA/Western expansionism eastwards - first EU and now NATO? What was our reaction to the Russian friendly President being overthrown in Ukraine? Delight? Others know much more than me - HELP!
