You have declared a climate emergency but nothing has changed. There has been no difference whatsoever, except a worsened prognosis for humanity. Declaring a climate emergency and doing nothing about it is hypocritical. Making things even worse by continuing with carry on regardless, business as usual is doubly hypocritical and extremely foolish.
SCRAP over half a billion pounds on destroying the UK's last, principal mainline railway from Derby to Devon via DUDLEY - our town and the largest by population without a railway station. But the railway and station were so successful for 100 years!
INSULATE every building in Dudley.
PUT PV Solar on every S, E, W, even north roof.
CUT spending on prestigious, over-indulgent projects that boost greenhouse gases - like Metro.
SPEND on cutting greenhouse gases in the medium to long term, even though in the short term they add to the runaway greenhouse effect.
ENCOURAGE AND BOOST ACTIVE TRAVEL by transforming the 22 Kms Black Country Cycle-Walk Mudway for responsible shared use by all self-powered travellers - walkers, mobility scooters, cyclists, horse riders.
