On the most unholy Holy Land there has ever been!

Such is the human condition, one side or the other has always to be top dog over the other. Imposition, coercion, force, violence, killings have gone on since time immemorial. Perpetual revenge and mutual hatred makes compromise, concession and sharing impossible.

We even have to be top dog over nature, forgetting we are part of nature and should be living in harmony with her laws!

Israel/West's defence policy is so incompetent and ineffective that even after 75 years of hard endeavour they have come nowhere near to wiping Hamas and Hezbollah off the face of the earth. Why don't they try compromise and a patient, self-denying, negotiated settlement to live in peace with their neighbours? All they ever think of is imposition, coercion, force, violence, killings - ad nauseum. A thoroughly well-proven, bankrupt policy. What do you think?

All very true but this further round of killings from 1947 to today between Palestine and Israel can be ended, I believe, only through a negotiated settlement of compromise, sacrifice, self-denial, sharing and friendship on both sides.  And the powerful, wealthy West/Israel must take the lead as the top dogs, the VIPs, the elite - with the UN.  The people in power, like 'Binny' N must try a more civilised way to live in peace and friendship with his neighbours.  And follow his own Hebrew Scriptures, too!

Nothing quite like living it up today and to hell with tomorrow, plus retaliation, to support atheism!

I do find it inexplicable that the Lord of All Creation, knowing everything in the past, present and future, should have created us humans who have turned out to be so full of hubris, revenge and out-living the resources on which we so depend for our unsustainable but very much sought after life style.

We are all thoughtlessly, sucking our life blood out of the planet to live it up today and to hell with our children and grandchildren's lot on a less comfortable planet!

It is the never-ending revenge, the tit for tat, the eye for an eye in Israel, supposedly the Holy Land that is such a lesson in how not to live and is such a lesson in atheism or the God delusion!

Gaza last week; Belarus this.

Last week, the West killed 248 Gazans of whom 65 were children; and the Gazans killed 12 Israelis.

This week, again, all hell has broken out with very real shock horror over the hi-jacking of a passenger plane to detain a Belarus opposition leader and journalist.

I kind of feel that there has been more reaction to these stunning events than yet more unequal slaughter in the Holy Land.

One illegal and warmongering behaviour leads to yet more of the same

Jews and Arabs have lived together for thousands of years with, it seems, very many more years of peace than war.  For much of that time, Jews have lived outside the Holy Land, after their initial conquest of Canaan, when Yahweh gave them the Promised Land and, then exile to Babylon.

Perhaps, the greatest explosion of mutual killing between Jews and Muslims has taken place since 1948 with the founding of the State of Israel.  That might never have taken place if it had not been for the 1939-45 war that brought the holocaust caused by the West.  Germany was directly responsible but the other Christian Western nations knew what was going on, almost from the outset, in Germany from 1933.

It seems that the State of Israel came about for three reasons:

1. The 'Christian' Western nations responsible for the 39-45 war and the persecution of the Jews, wanted to salve their conscience and to do something in restitution.
2. Jews were fleeing persecution in war torn Europe to the land that they had first conquered and occupied 2,500 years, or more, ago.
3. Because of the terrorism by the Jewish terrorist gangs, the West with the UN, designated a homeland for the Jews in the British Mandate of Palestine.  Now known as the State of Israel.

That 39-45 war might never have taken place if only the British Empire had kept aloof from the 1914 war on the mainland of Europe.  British entry on 4 August 1914 when we were ill equipped, was grossly premature and unnecessary when Britain was never in danger of being invaded between 1914 and 1918.
