I think this is definitely worthy of your time and energy. The new stretch of tram planned to connect curzon street station to the new Birmingham sports quarter, less than a mile, is estimated to cost £4-500 million. It does appear to involve (sic; much) money, when cheaper transport options seem to exist.
I’m currently laid low with a holiday-acquired virus that’s caused a bad throat and chest infection so my return to work may be delayed a few days but badger me again soon if I’ve not been back to you.
