What I am after is for all morally upstanding Christians to be a shining example of nonviolence.
It is a fact, that for centuries the primary initiated violence came from the powerful and the oppressor and against the weak and powerless. 300 years of colonialism, slavery, and empire building have made that clear. For those 300 years, the religious Christian nations, with the support of individual believers and the Church were all too obviously on one side and not the other!
In my experience, it really is unheard of for ordinary Christian believers to condemn militarism, imperialism, displacement of peoples and to reward aggression. Yet, this is exactly what our side, the Western, Christian nations, allowed the State of Israel to do for 76 years. And, before that, the three years of Jewish terrorism from 1945 to gain the land from the Arabs, in 1948 via Britain which had the mandate to govern Palestine. Never a single sanction against Israel. You can't when they are on our side and part of us!
STILL, our Black Country Christian leaders remain silent over the 35,000 very largely innocent/non-fighters men women and children who had nothing to do with 7 October 23 but were murdered in a sham, illegal and grossly disproportionate war of 'self defence' fueled, indeed funded, by the Western, traditionally Christian believing nations. I believe, they are acts of genocide by our side and it is an abomination in the sight of the Lord God of us all.
Only the Amish Community, the Mennonites and the Quakers have been noted, NOT for a biblical but, at least, a Christ-like example of nonviolence for centuries of true discipleship.
