ACTIVE TRAVEL ENGLAND (making excuses) LETTER

SEE ACTIVE TRAVEL ENGLAND (making excuses) LETTER, BELOW

In the heart of England, the 22 Kms Black Country Cycle-Walk Mudway, through THREE large council areas in the densely populated and road/rail congested West Midlands, must make this Mudway the most important, UNFINISHED, NEGLECTED but still much used by intrepid dog walkers, long-distance walkers on the Monarch's Way, horse riders, Woodland Trust visitors, dirt bikes and other mudlarks, in the whole of the UK!!

All you transport experts started it but only did half the job!  You then went hareing off onto other more prestigious, fancy, flash schemes like LTNs, ‘fifteen minute cities’ - sometimes known as 20 minute neighbourhoods and cutting down vehicle road space for the invisible, non-appearing cyclists to use.  And, destroying nature for High Scam 2, Metro and Sprint, by the way.

When will you active travellers, as I still am, going to help yourselves (and me) to actually use this COMMUTER, BUSINESS AND LEISURE route between Dudley's attractive Waterfront, Wombourne in South Staffordshire and NW Wolverhampton?  And, of course, get our canal towpaths free of puddles, mud and the damned, infernal raised bricks under canal bridges - for goodness sake!

PLEASE GET THE JOB FINISHED, COMPETENTLY BEFORE I'M DEAD AND BURIED.  You've got much less than ten years - I hope!
